As a Children, Young People, and Family Manager, your role involves fostering alignment and commitment across teams and partnerships to empower children, young people, and families to reach their full potential. You'll oversee teams, manage resources, and introduce innovative approaches that prioritise the well-being of those you serve. This leadership position can be in children's residential care or within community settings across various sectors. Your responsibilities encompass team or service management, collaborating with diverse professionals, and encouraging continuous improvement in practice. You'll champion excellence, supporting practitioners in enhancing their skills to actively assist each individual and family in achieving their goals. By staying updated with research and new practices, you'll enhance overall performance and safety. Additionally, you'll cultivate an environment that fosters reflective practice, professional growth, and a dedication to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children, young people, and families.
The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer, but may typically be five GCSEs at Grade C or higher.
Coursework:
Creation of a portfolio of learning demonstrating learning and development activities with their application in the workplace.
Undertakes research and analysis of a workplace project.
Evidence of 360° feedback within the portfolio of learning.
End Point Assessment Gateway:
Completed portfolio of learning.
English and Maths level 2, as a minimum.

Employer confirms apprentice is consistently working at or above the level of the standard.
