Early Years Practitioners operate in diverse settings, implementing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines for children aged birth to 5. They actively engage in planning and conducting indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring children's welfare and delivering educational programs in alignment with the setting's ethos. Working alongside qualified educators, they observe, assess, and tailor activities to individual children's needs, fostering child-led and adult-led experiences. Interacting with parents, children, colleagues, and professionals, they prioritise safety, contribute to care needs, and support learning experiences while collaborating to address child welfare concerns under supervision.
